Sven‑Bodo Scholz – 60th Birthday Celebration
Sven‑Bodo Scholz, Professor of Computer Science at Radboud University, Nijmegen, turned 60 in 2026.
We are delighted to organize this scientific meeting to honor his outstanding contributions to array languages, compilers, functional programming, and high‑performance computing. Over the past decades Prof. Scholz has shaped the way we think about combining productivity and performance on heterogeneous computing systems, and his work continues to influence both academia and industry.
Event Details
- Dates: 13th of April
- Location: Nijmegen, The Netherlands (Radboud University campus) – exact venue to be announced shortly.
- Audience: Open to anyone interested in the topics above and in celebrating Prof. Scholz’s career.
Participation
- The meeting is free of charge.
- An optional banquet will be held on the evening of April 13th. Attendance at the banquet requires a separate payment made directly to the restaurant.
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
